Hair Style Techniques:

• For fine highlights we recommend the use of a highlight cap and hook, available separately
• For flashes, slices and tips we recommend the use of normal kitchen foil
• You will also need a non-metallic mixing bowl, such as a glass container

For Long Hair:

• Two packs may be required if hair is longer than 20cm or you want to increase number of highlights

For best colour results:

• One-step application process for very light blonde hair or two-step application process for medium to dark hair
• For best results start with clean dry hair, we recommend using Smart Pre-colour Shampoo No.1, available separately
• For vibrant hair colour results on medium to dark, you must use the hair lightener provided to achieve very light blonde hair, If you already have very light blonde hair, the vibrant colour can be applied directly
• The hair colour result lasts up to 6-30 washes and the longevity can be influenced by many factors such as natural hair colour, previous treatments, condition, porosity, length and thickness of hair. If the pre-lightener has been used to increase vibrancy, pre-lightened hair will remain lighter as vibrant hair colour fades
• For best results always conduct a strand test before proceeding

Aftercare:

• To protect the colour we recommend using our Smart Colour Care Shampoo No.4, available separately
• The Smart vibrant hair colour can be re-applied to refresh the vibrant hair colour result.
• To remove any access colour from your skin use our stain removal wipes

Extra hair lightener:

• If your hair is very dark or resistant, you may need to pre-lighten your hair twice before application of the vibrant colour, we recommend Smart Total Blonde, available separately

Extra vibrant colour:

• Use the corresponding matching Smart Colour semi-permanent hair colour to refresh, available separately. Smart Colour formulation has conditioning properties and will not damage your hair. If applied to the same pre-lightened hair, you will not have to use the hair lightener
